What Is Urban Clothing?

The way people dress has evolved so much over the years. From clothing that covers almost every inch of the body to skimpy outfits, from monochromatic ensembles to colorful ones, from formal attires to more casual pieces, and many more.

Among these types of clothing or fashion style that has grown in popularity in the past few years is urban or hip hop fashion. This kind of fashion is also sometimes referred to as street fashion because it is driven by the type of clothing that emerges from the streets or the neighborhoods.

Urban fashion initially became popular in the 1980s and 1990s, when rock stars started wearing clothing styles that fall under this category. Although many designers have created their own urban clothing lines, the styles and trends are often dictated by what people see on the streets and on hip hop and other musical artists.

Because of the popularity of hip hop fashion, there are numerous hip hop clothing lines nowadays and big designer brands also emerged and started making urban clothing more accessible to everyone. Anyone can easily buy wholesale urban clothing such as wholesale ecko, sean john, rocawear, apple bottoms, dereon, and many more.
The typical urban clothing pieces often include low waist or low rise jeans, hoodies, windbreakers, throwback jerseys, high heels, boots, sneakers, and many more. To achieve a complete street fashion look, it requires several pieces of clothing that are mixed together with appropriate accessories and even hair styles.

Hip hop accessories, also often called bling blings, are extremely important for a complete street fashion look. Hair styles such as asymmetrical cuts, shaved heads, colored hair, and many more, are also important ingredients to a complete urban fashion style.

Over the years, urban fashion has evolved in many different ways. Since this particular kind of clothing wear is largely influenced nowadays by the hip hop music scene, trends emerge from popular hip hop music artists.

Smart Fashion: Five Excellent Reasons to Rent Clothes Instead of Buying Them

“My clothes have a story. They have an identity. They have a character and a purpose. That is why they become classics. Because they keep on telling a story. They are still telling it” –Vivienne Westwood To most fashion-forward individuals, renting clothes is a rather unorthodox idea. Some might even dismiss it as downright ludicrous while the rest would even regard it as the height of blasphemy. After all, clothes are personal effects and they reflect our individual characters and personalities insomuch that renting them can feel like we are adapting to a new persona. Sure, we get it. Renting clothes does not hold much appeal and may not even be a popular option to most seeing as most individuals would rather buy the clothes they like outright rather than scour rental shops for it. This is especially true for individuals with peculiar taste in apparel such as those provided by a wholesaleBob Marley retailer and the like. However, despite your inner protests and qualms, ther

Style Forecast: Fashion Resolutions You Should Commit to This Coming Year

"Style is a deeply personal expression of who you are, and every time you dress, you are asserting a part of yourself" -Nina Garcia More often than not, we often scoff at the idea of a long and lofty list of New Year resolutions that sound more ambitious than they are doable. In fact, maybe some of us have scrapped the tradition of making New Year's resolutions altogether for the simple fact that you have your doubts as to whether or not you can actually maintain them. However, while there is a slew of resolutions you are doomed to fail, there are some you can expect yourself to manage . One of them is to commit to a better style. Fashion resolutions are another thing altogether and by far, would be the easiest to commit to the entire year in terms of manageability. After all, fashion itself is an art and is seen as a means of self-expression. It is a pretty straightforward aspect in our lives, so why not set some style goals for the coming year ahead
