Reinventing Yourself: Four Ways to Fashionably Bounce Back After a Breakup

“Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman.”-Coco Chanel

It has been said that a woman goes through a different kind of catharsis when she goes through a break out.
This might have been caused from the purging of unwanted person in her life or finally because she chose to break free of the toxicity that has been holding her down for so long. Unfortunately, not all women would experience this kind of epiphany soon. Understandably, women who just recently broke up with a significant other would be too distraught to even think about the possibilities. As a result, they would have little to no absolute care for themselves. They are so absorbed and enraptured by their thoughts that the last thing that would be on their mind is too look good and consequently feel good. Unfortunately, if a woman has wallowed in this hole far too long, she might emerge as a different woman which can be either a good or bad thing. Good if it actually makes her a better version better of herself while bad if it makes her worse off than she was before. While a woman is within her rights to grieve the loss of a relationship, she should still take care of herself and make herself presentable to the world. Sure, dressing up might be the last thing on her mind but over time, when she is ready to emerge, she should be able to take the world with a vengeance.
More importantly, she should be able to show that a breakup does not define her. So, if you have recently gone through a breakup. Do not confine yourself in bed and curl yourself up in a ball wearing his old wholesale diamond supply sweater. Go out, dress up and reinvent yourself. In any case, here are some of the ways you can fashionably bounce back after a breakup:

Stop living in your pajamas

Breakups are hard. We get that. However, this is no excuse for you to keep living in your pajamas day in and day out. Sure, at this moment, nothing matters more to you more than being in your pajamas, crying your heart out and watching sappy romantic movies. But you have to pull yourself up again and no one else can do it but you. Build a bridge over what hurt you, cross it and move on. It might be easier said than done but once you started donning your favorite clothing ensemble to meet your friends in the club, you might even get excited. Plus, it feels good to look good. After all, are you not the least bit curious as to how you look like after spending all those time in just your pajamas?

Get a haircut

It has been said that a woman who cuts her hair is about to change the world. And indeed she will. One of the best ways to heal your heart after a break up is to let go of all of the excess baggage that has been holding you down. In this regard, your haircut and how you look can be a painful reminder of the days of your past. With this in mind, go for a haircut does it out of your comfort zone and for added effect, you can even color your hair.

Wear heels

They might kill your feet but they would make you feel so fine and sexy while you are at it. Apart from the added height and the significant improvement in your posture, wearing heels can make even the simplest outfit look sophisticated. It also helps you exude confidence and sex appeal that unfortunately, your flats cannot match. Plus, heels have a way of making you feel even more womanly insomuch that just strutting in them will be enough to give you the confidence boost that you need. Be sure to shop for the right kind of heels though and pick a pair that goes with most of your ensembles. Of course, you should also choose a style that would be comfortable to walk in.

Experiment with your style

Step out of your comfort zone and do something you might have never done before. Sometimes, a breakup gives you some of the best lessons in life and you would then realize that not all of those we lose are indeed a loss. In this regard, try to break free of the person who you once were starting by experimenting with style. Reinvent yourself by opting for fashion choices that do not necessarily speak to you but have always been something you wanted to try. In fact, do not pass up on an opportunity to try a new style—even ones that you were so skeptical about. You might find that you actually like it.

What Is Urban Clothing?

The way people dress has evolved so much over the years. From clothing that covers almost every inch of the body to skimpy outfits, from monochromatic ensembles to colorful ones, from formal attires to more casual pieces, and many more. Among these types of clothing or fashion style that has grown in popularity in the past few years is urban or hip hop fashion. This kind of fashion is also sometimes referred to as street fashion because it is driven by the type of clothing that emerges from the streets or the neighborhoods.  Urban fashion initially became popular in the 1980s and 1990s, when rock stars started wearing clothing styles that fall under this category. Although many designers have created their own urban clothing lines, the styles and trends are often dictated by what people see on the streets and on hip hop and other musical artists.  Because of the popularity of hip hop fashion, there are numerous hip hop clothing lines nowadays and big designer brands also e

“My clothes have a story. They have an identity. They have a character and a purpose. That is why they become classics. Because they keep on telling a story.
