  •  Get the right size. This is best regardless of whether you are buying plus-size clothing or regular-size clothing. However, some plus-size people may have developed a habit of buying clothes that are too tight or too loose. Make sure you get the right size that is not too tight but not too baggy either. These tops create form and draw the focus on the center of your body and not on its outer silhouette. Even if your collarbone is not visible, the collar and chest area are often the leanest part of the torso and wearing a v-neck will accentuate this.
  • Limit your accessories. Even if ‘bigger is better’ is your motto, you do not necessarily have to apply it to how you wear your accessories. However, make sure to wear or bring accessories that are in scale with your size. Just remember to tone it down.
